Freeform uses polypropylene — lighter, tough against cracking, but more flexible, so it bows when overpacked. What the 10-year warranty actually is
It is a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship — not accidental damage and not airline damage. That distinction matters: if a handler snaps a wheel off, that is a claim against the airline, usually within a short window after the flight, not a warranty claim. What the warranty does buy you is a large authorized repair network, which is the practical reason to prefer a major brand over an unbranded case.
